Nestled in Yakima Valley’s wine country, this home boasts stunning views of Cowiche and Scenic Canyon. While the outdoor patio was intended as a space to enjoy those views, strong seasonal winds made it difficult to use year-round. 2112 Design Studio was brought in to create a solution that balanced comfort with aesthetics.

Retractable glass doors were installed to shield the space on windy days while maintaining visibility. When open, they connect seamlessly to a pergola and extended seating area. Concrete planters add privacy and seasonal color, and the space is fully outfitted with a fireplace, TV, and built-in barbecue – turning this outdoor patio into a year-round hub for entertaining and relaxing.
