Coastal Calm

Having recently moved from Virginia to Florida, the homeowners found their dream home in the Village of Palmetto Bay – a place they envisioned retiring in, filled with treasures and artifacts collected from years of global travel.

To improve function and flow, 2112 Design Studio reconfigured the home’s east wing – transforming an underused home office into a guest bedroom and bath, and redesigning the entry to the master suite. The master bath was expanded by merging an adjacent half bath and closet, allowing for a freestanding tub and more openness. The laundry room was brought indoors with its own entry and storage, and the nearby cabana bath was refreshed to align with the overall design. Together, these updates brought calm, cohesion, and practical luxury to the home.
